Theme Parks
Dollywood is a theme park located in the Smoky Mountains, owned by Dolly Parton and Herschend Family Entertainment. From fantastic rides to music and shows, there are several things that make Dollywood special.
Soaky Mountain Waterpark is a brand new, 50-acre waterpark nestled in the Smoky Mountains. It’s a mountain-modern park with food trucks, bars, kiddie play areas, slides with light effects and a first-of-its-kind watercoaster.
Dollywood’s Splash Country is the water park to the Dollywood theme park. It has 35 acres of slides, a lazy river and a wave pool.
Anakeesta is an outdoor adventure spot located in the treetops of Gatlinburg with zip lining, a treetop skywalk, a mountain coaster, play areas, shopping and dining.
Wilderness at the Smokies is a resort and family adventure center with two outdoor waterparks as well as Tennessee’s largest indoor waterpark. The lodge also has a gaming center with a ropes course, arcade, laser tag and mini golf.
SkyLift Park is home to the the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America. The park also has a SkyLift chair lift and a SkyDeck viewing area.
Ober Gatlinburg is an amusement park and ski area located in the mountains of Gatlinburg. While Ober is Tennessee’s only ski and snowboard destination. It also features an aerial tram, a mountain coaster, ice bumper cars, a chairlift, a wildlife encounter, shopping and more.

Shows
Dinner Show Dolly Parton’s Stampede features a friendly North vs. South competition.
Guests will enjoy a live show featuring music, comedy, live animals, horse stunts and pyrotechnics during their meal. A four-course feast of Southern comfort food is included with your ticket. And, you know it’s good when Dolly puts her name on it.
Pirates Voyage Dinner Show is a dinner theater experience in Pigeon Forge.
Guests join the adventures of the infamous pirate Blackbeard and his quartermaster Calico Jack on pirate ships. With stadium seating, there’s hardly a bad seat in the house. The show offers a four-course pirate feast, included in the ticket price.
The Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Show is a dinner theater experience in Pigeon Forge, featuring a homestyle all-you-can-eat feast and two quirky families.
The show is very loosely based on the real-life feud between the Hatield and McCoy families. Hatfield and McCoy claims to put the “fun” in dysfunctional.
The Comedy Barn Theater is a live music venue in Pigeon Forge.
The show has clean, Hee-Haw-style comedy routine for the family. It is an award-winning family comedy variety show. Note that this one is not a dinner show, but snacks are available for purchase.
This amazing show features magicians, dancers, jugglers, ventriloquists, comedians and live music.
Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Show and Adventure Park is a tourist attraction in Pigeon Forge located in the Shops at Lumberjack Square.

Erik Dobell is a master mentalist and magician. Be amazed with his illusions at this great show, which now also features comedian Chris Collins. Dobell has traveled from Las Vegas to South Korea performing for audiences and companies such as the NFL, Macy’s and Goodyear, and now he performs at the historic Gatlinburg Space Needle in downtown Gatlinburg. The Buttonwillow Civil War Theater is a theater company in Pigeon Forge.
Notably, the theater offers shows daily (except Christmas), and group rates are available. Museums
Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies is an amazing family attraction with state-of-the-art facilities, more than 10,000 exotic sea creatures and 10 themed galleries.
The Titanic Museum Attraction in Pigeon Forge opens a door to the past with a one-of-a-kind “passenger” experience. Guests get to experience what it was like to walk the hallways, parlors, guest quarters and the Grand Staircase while surrounded by more than 400 artifacts sourced directly from the ship and its passengers. Each guest will receive a boarding pass of an actual Titanic passenger or crew and learn of their fate.
ATVs
Foxfire Mountain is an outdoor adventure park that offers hiking, ziplines and yes, ATV tours! You and your family can take an off-road adventure in the Smoky Mountains with a tour guide. This option is family-friendly since children 3 and up can ride. If you go to Foxfire, note that they sometimes offer some discounts on Groupon.
Am Fun is open year-round, offering recreational vehicle rentals, Honda UTVs and Slingshots. All Can Am Fun vehicles are street legal and welcome in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Local maps and helmets are also included with the rentals.
Pigeon Forge offers premier UTV rentals in the Great Smoky Mountains, and they provide maps with points of interest for drivers. Drivers must be 25 years of age with proof of insurance. They also offer Jeep Wranglers for rent.
